Terms of service

Last updated 8 September 2026

Draft, pending legal review. These terms are published so that acceptance at registration refers to a real document. They have not yet been reviewed by counsel and will change.

What we provide

MCA Academy provides professional education, assessment and credentialing for the merchant cash advance and commercial finance industry. Access is personal to you.

One account, one person

A credential is bound to a verified identity, not to an email address. You may not share your account or let another person complete assessed work on your behalf. A credential earned by a substitute is worthless to you and to every other holder, so we treat account sharing as grounds for revocation.

Assessment and credentials

We may revoke a credential where it was obtained through misrepresentation, where an assessment was completed by someone else, or where a breach of the practitioner code of conduct is established. Revocation is recorded with a reason and shown in the public registry.

Course content is not advice

Course material is educational. It is not legal, financial, tax or compliance advice, and it does not tell you what any law requires in any jurisdiction. Nothing here creates a professional relationship. Consult your own counsel before acting on anything you learn here.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, redistribute or resell course content or assessment items. Do not attempt to extract the item bank or answer keys. Do not upload real merchant documents or personal information — the platform is designed to hold neither, and ingest paths reject it.
